Pastoral Counselor & Chaplain

I am a Carolina Girl who has been a Georgia Peach for almost 30 years. I moved to Georgia after graduating from The College of Charleston on a NCAA Basketball scholarship with a BS degree in Business Administration.  As a professional, I worked as both a Manufacturer Sales Rep and as a Technical Recruiter experiencing great success, but success was not enough to fulfill my God given core longings.  In 2001, I left the marketplace to focus on my family, giving it my all as a wife and stay at home mom.  This attempt to fulfill my identity and purpose was futile, because in 2013 my world, my foundation as I knew it, came crashing down from a divorce.

We all have a story.  My story is a story of redemption.  The redemption of my heart, identity and purpose.  It has been a journey which included abuse, betrayal, divorce, addiction, loss, grief and regret.  With the grace of God, my journey turned into one of inner healing, mending of trust, marriage, freedom, abundance and joy.   God continues to display His faithfulness, because He works all things together for good.  He took the weapon that was formed against me and turned it around for healing and recovery.   He changed the meaning and purpose of what happened with truth and revealed my true identity through Lifewell Ministries. My story turned in to my ministry.

My life experiences, my story, gave me the opportunity to discover my heart’s passion of Inner Healing for women who have similarly suffered abuse, betrayal, divorce and trauma. I had the honor of volunteering with Christine Caine to serve rescued Human Trafficking Victims at a A21 Human Trafficking Shelter in Thessaloniki, Greece.  In another experience, I traveled to Haiti and was a speaker on Inner Healing and Restoration at Love a Child, Open Hands Bloom Conference.  Within the local church, I was invited to be on a Panel at Free Chapel’s Divine Women’s Conference, speaking on the topics of Divorce, Inner Healing and Restoration.  My personal alcohol recovery testimony has opened the doors for me to share my story at New Beginnings Rehabilitation Center for Women and Three Dimension Life, along with many individuals who struggle with addiction to alcohol and drugs.

As an Ordained Chaplain I am with people on the worst days of their lives.  Chaplaincy is a “Ministry of Presence & Listening”, which flows into my counseling.  The “Ministry of Presence & Listening” provides a safe, peaceful, healing place for someone to come and position themselves to experience and receive inner healing.

As a Pastoral Counselor with Lifewell Ministries, I personally have walked, experienced healing and have been equipped to draw from His life to share this

Life with others.  My life and ministry biblical verse is 2 Corinthians 1:4, “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” My hope and heart’s passion is to walk with people to receive the same inner healing that has been given to me and to equip people to draw from His life that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10b).

I call my family, “The Perfect Blend”.  I am married to my husband, Mark and have three sons, Bradley, Brenden, Jacob, a stepdaughter, Kendall, a stepson, Cole and a mini-golden doodle, Judah.
