Evie Chrisman

I grew up in The Bronx and attended Wagner College in Staten Island, New York. I moved to Plano, Texas in 1988 to pursue vocational ministry. It was during my time in Texas that I became a teacher and then worked in administration in Christians schools. I received my Master’s in Education Administration in Texas Woman’s University thinking it would be the answer to happiness and contentment. I continued to seek contentment by attending Seminary school in 2013. I received a Master’s in Ministerial Leadership through Wesley Seminary in Indiana. I achieved these degrees hoping it would fill a avoid in my life, but it did not. It wasn’t until I enrolled in an exchange life program through Network 220 and Healing Grace Ministries that I experienced the freedom in Christ as told in Galatians 2:20. In my journey to find contentment and acceptance, Healing Grace Ministries Pastoral Counseling Program became the vehicle God used to lead me to my true identity. It is there that I found healing and freedom in Christ.

In serving at Healing Grace Ministries as a Pastoral Counselor, I was given the opportunity to share the message of hope and freedom that God desires for all. It’s the same message that brought me freedom and transformation. It changed my trajectory and transformed how I now do life. The ministry of the Holy Spirit wants to bring wholeness to all who seek and thirst for the abundant life spoken in John 10:10. In Lifewell Ministries, I get the opportunity to share what I have experienced from my own healing journey. It also gives me the opportunity to come alongside women and disciple them so that they can draw from the same living water that will bring wholeness and abundant life. I have the desire to help women construct a secure foundation in Christ, a journey, I now find myself living.
